About Wilsden Village Hall

Wilsden Village Hall is a registered charity run as a non-profit on behalf of the community. It was founded in 1976 to serve as the hub of Wilsden village.

The hall is run by a management committee made up of volunteers from the local community and a full-time manager, Julie Petty. It is entirely self-funded. Running costs are covered through user fees, supplemented by fundraising events and grant applications. Our biggest fundraising event is our annual beer festival, held in late May or early June every year.

Village groups who meet in the hall include uniformed organisations, dance and fitness groups, church groups, art classes and many more. It is also available to hire for special events such as christening and wedding receptions.
