Wilsden Village Gala takes place every year. It is organised by a committee of volunteers from the community and raises money for the village hall. It traditionally begins with a fancy dress procession through the village, beginning at the hall and ending at the cricket field, the venue for the gala.

Wilsden Gala 2019: All at sea

The theme for this year’s gala, chosen by children from the village, is ‘All at Sea’. The gala will open at 1pm on Sunday 30th June at Wilsden Cricket Field. A fancy dress procession through the village will begin at the village hall at 12:30pm.

The gala will feature:

  • Stalls
  • Games
  • Rides
  • Children’s races
  • Bouncy castle
  • Tea tent run by Wilsden WI
  • Beer tent
  • Brass band
  • Pony rides
