Times are getting tough and Wilsden Village Hall, a registered charity, really needs help to ensure its future survival.
We are looking for volunteers as well as new committee members. Wilsden Village Hall Management Committee meet once a month on a Monday night.
We’d particularly appreciate help in the following areas:
Treasurer
We are looking for a new treasurer to oversee the financial affairs of the organisation, ensuring that proper records are kept and reporting on the financial health of the hall.
Events
Beer festivals, film nights, fairs and many more. All of these need organising and running. Can you help?
Publicity
We need to let people know about what’s going on in the hall and would love help with the following:
- Producing posters and flyers
- Social media
- Updating our website
Sourcing funding
As a charity, we need to seek out sources of funding grants for various activities as well as new opportunities for charitable projects. For this we need help with sourcing funding pots and writing applications.
HR/legal
Can you offer any help with employment law and creating HR policies? If so, we’d appreciate any small amount of time you can give.
